Yes, he spoke against Holocaust denial.
But it is unforgivable that a written speech by the pope at Yad Vashem ommits the word "murdered", using the word "killed". It is unforgivable that a written speech by the pope at Yad Vashem ommits the number of Jews killed: 6 million, if he wants to set the example of fighting the denial he denounces. It is unforgivable that he ommits the culprits and the responsibility of the Catholic Church both in creating anti-Semitism in teh first place and in ignoring the papal oblivion towards the plight of Jews during the Holocaust.
He allegedly is the heir of Jesus Christ on earth. He is the moral head of the entire Catholic Church. He purports to represent Christianity as a whole. And he isn`t able to say the victims were murdered, nor say Nazi Germany and its collaborators were the perpatrators.
Shame, shame, shame. Shame on the pope who speaks about "the heart" and has no heart nor conscience. |
