| Most of us in the US cheered on "little Israel" in 1967 and shortly thereafter. But since, our tax dollars have gone to promote Israel`s war machine which marches roughshod wherever it pleases with no fear of retribution--though it is coming. Oren may be right, but for reasons other than he mentions. If Israel continues down its present path, then it will soon have no friends in the world. It is very simple: remove the occupation and all settlements and withdraw to behind the green line. Then we will be sympathetic again. Until then it is only making enemiesl |
