| It`s not a question you would ask in the US or UK, but in Israel where everyone seems obsessed with questions of ethnicity, the article should raise it. I`m surprised that right-wing Israeli politicians aren`t already using these atatistics to warn of an existential threat to the Jewish state and a demographic timebomb. After all where would the Jewish state be, if it had to rely on Arab sperm donors? Would that be OK because the mothers are Jewish, or would everyone get upset about Arab blood, even though Arabs and Jews are so closely related? |
