Mr. Alfredo--let`s play a game.
Imagine tomorrow a man walks up to your door and tells you he wants your house. He tells you that, though he covets it all, he would be perfectly willing to let you keep some of it. I`m sure that you would be all in favor of this nice man`s offer in order to avoid bloodshed, right?
Oh, also imagine that, while he tells you he will let you keep half of it, you recall reading an article in the paper yesterday where the same man openly declared his intention to give you half of it until he can consolidate his half, at which point he will move you out and take the rest.
It is an irony when those completely unaware of history respond to those who ARE aware of it by telling them to "read history." Please, sir, do yourself a favor and don`t try to debate this issue--it makes you look really ignorant. |
