| All, The present `peace` plans are completely based on what can be done for the Pals and what does Israel have to do to `sacrifice for peace`. In short, there is nothing there to sell to the Israeli people. The `peace` process offers: 1. Israel apology for its Creation and Existence. (A lousy selling point). 2. Crippling reparations for Pal refugees and none for Israeli refugees from Arab world. 3. Faux Normalization - A scrap of paper and an exchange of Ambassadors that will soon be withdrawn. 4. Worthless Security Guarantees and a long term `understanding` of terror against Israeli civilians. Intl troops will leave (as UN troops did in Sinai in 1967) whether it violates guarantees or not. 5. No end to claims against pre-1967 Israel (as required by UN SCR 242 & 338) due to Hamas, Hezb and Iran. Not much of a sell to the Israeli people. It`s about time someone tried to look at what Israel will get as well as what Israel will give. |
