| Oh, My! Dear, dear, Mr. Hass. Israel might have to share the water with the Palestinians? How dreadful. Would it share the sea and the air---and even the land which it has taken illegally? A perpetual state of war is exactly what the Israelis want and need. That is why it has no intention of getting behind the 1967 line in return for peace. It must remain the victim at all costs, so that it can fabricate reasons for more settlements, control of all facets of Palestinian life, etc. Americans are getting it after all of these years, and the worm is turning on Israel, at long last. |
