Well done again Gideon Levy, for pointing out what seems obvious to everyone outside the Israeli right wing.
Apart from the generallies and hypocrisy of the Israeli position, it seems worthpointing out that if Israel blindly disregards international law, as it clearly has done here, it cannot be really be offended when those rules are ignored by others against them. The Palestiniains and Arab world generally may be relatively powerless now, but if they have long memories, then look out.
In that respect, the loss of international sympathy caused by this behaviour could also be high indeed. |
