| Belgians have always had Jews on the brain, as even a cursory examination of their media amply demonstrates. A review of a Bette Midler concert in the mainstream media once began, "The hall was filled with Jews, Homosexuals and Americans," and continued, "ticket prices were three times the normal, but that was no problem for the diamond merchants from Antwerp."
