| The US clearly has no specific plan. Containing Iranian hegemony. They travel the ME, talking to their allies. Confusing, in some cases downright stupid. Their 150.000 combat troops are fighting Iraq. Their 30.000 combat troops are fighting Taliban. Their 70 plus "Trainers/Instructors in Pakistan. They have naval fleets,aircraft etc in the Gulf. Their presence has escalated. They know that Iran is behind many schemes. They do not understand Iranian intentions. They think Iran is backward. They believe diplomacy with Iran is simple. They now know that diplomacy with Al Qaeda or the Taliban is a no go. Yet they discussed that possibility. Thats why the Gulf is afraid. The US has no plan for Iran. Iran, has its plans for the US.Gulf and Israel. Its called terror. Go home, Mr.Gates. Take your US. Army stateside. Protect the Homeland. Let the ME issues be handled by the locals. |
