I applaud Pres. Perez telling the UN Chief the report is irrelevant and will not be abided.
For too long the UN has been preoccupied with finding ways to damn Israel. Its amazing how much time,effort and not to mention money has gone into defaming Israel.
The UN Human rights commission should spend more time investigating legitimate human rights concerns such as in Congo, Burma, China or Sudan. I dont hear the outcry from Sec. Ban and other officials on the catastrophic events unfolding in those nations.
THe fact of the matter is the UN is not concerned about these nations. There virulent hatred and formulation reports based on fictious evidence seems to be the main project.
Until the UN begins to apply the same moral standard to all nations of the world Israel need not bother adhering to UN requests. |
