| The central question of medical ethics is that of the informed consent of the subject. Did these IDF soldiers knowingly consent to be human subjects in this experiment? If so, there is much less of a problem than if the soldiers chosen from the pool were simply vaccinated, without being given a choice about being used as a human guinea pig. |
