Israel pulled out because it thought it might lead to better things. It certainly wasn`t because of the resistence, which Israel could squash readily. As to the occupation, take responsibility for it. It is the Arab and Pal world that provoked Israel to fight by the unprovoked attack in 1967 and it is this same world that essentially guaranteed that Israel stay when it refused to recognize her, let her live in peace and even refused to negotiate, all of which was followed up the the same violence that led to 1967. Israel is here to stay and if you want to challenge that, their will be enduring violence unless and until one side wipes out the other. Its sickening to think that there are those who want this kind of solution. All it does is create human misery. |
