Linthwaite is correct, the Pope will be in danger during his visit. When the visit will go to the Palestinian areas is when he has to watch his back.
The religion of Peace and tolerance is anything but. When the Arabs controlled Jerusalem pre 1967, Jews and Christians were unable to worship. Only when Israel captured the city were all three religions openly able to worship their respective religions, without any fear or acrimony. The Pope will find he is unwelcome in Islamic areas, by the mere fact that he is of another religion.
