I don`t think that Templars were exactly exchanged for Jews since some were. I do know that one branch of a Templar family of the other rose branch chose Nazi and are the founders in 1200. The first symbol of the reich was then. I think most Templars fight nazism and fight for Christ that is why they were being annihilated. One rotten branch took out the rest.
