When I read that nonsense then form a picture in my mind of Iranian tanks rolling through Amsterdam and the Persian Wehrmacht marching triumphantly down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées I laugh out loud.
Rational people in neither Europe nor the United States have ever lost a minute of sleep worrying about an attack from Iran. The very suggestion that Iran would attack nuclear armed France, or the UK or any other nation in Europe (or Israel for that matter) is preposterous. If you have neurotic fantasies and a pathology of victimhood then that mental instability is your own affair BUT do not demand that United States citizens shed life, limb, blood and resources in order to mollify your personal demons and delusions. |
