| OMG an Israeli unilateral withdrawal will leave anarchy behind? Goodness I thought the palestinians would be overjoyed to be done with the occupation shuffle and the palestinian government would leap at the opportunity to lead. Why would there be anarchy? Why should Israel be involved in establishing the power structure for the Arabs? Of course the gaza is a good reason to not withdraw period, never mind a unilateral one. Poor Mark is a fine arabist apologist, even ready to blame Israel for the Arabs` inability to organize themselves and show the national will, the drive for self-determination needed to form a country. oy vay, a unilateral withdrawal will leave anarchy behind. |
