| Israel is no longer a democracy because: 1. The army is not responsive to lawful court decisions and ignores them. 2. A Jewish state discriminates against non-Jews - a true democracy does not discriminate against minorities 3. Millions of people in the territories that Israel rules over do not have full civil rights, just like apartheid South Africa. Yes, warfare dictates that certain democratic behaviours are suspended, but then do not pretend to be a democracy. |
