| Shulamit Aloni`s essay misses a very important point. If someone is coming to kill you, kill him first. There is no question that what Israel does in its own defense often has tragic results. However, it would be worse would be for Israel not to defend herself. Peace requires compromise and a partner willing and able to keep commitments. The solution is in the hands of the Arab world. Until the day comes when they care about their own people as much as the don`t care about Israelis, our children will continue to defend our home. |
