| There is no viable alternative to a Binational state. It became obvious when Arrik Sharon decided he believed in partition, it was too late. The right suceeded in destroying the green line, so now we have to live with the consquences. It will have to be something like the South African conversion to majority rule. There will have to be gaureentees for the Jewish Minority. A possible gaurentee might look like Every Jewish citizen will get either an American Green card or a European Passport, and Arab citizen will get either an Egyptian or Jordanian Pasport as a safety precaution. This will involve some kind of right of return for some Palestian refugees and compensation for others. There will have to be a masive economic development plan implemented funded by reductions in the military, American, European, and Gulf countries. This will require statesmenship, luck, and hard work, maybe the hand of G-d. |
