Resolve against hegemonic, expansionist dictatorships is the only thing that has worked historically, in both recent and former times. As Ari Shavit says in his fine article of today, it may not be in a liberal Democrat from Chicago`s DNA, but going forcefully against Iran`s ambitions is the only thing that will make them think twice whether it is worthwhile to go against the whole international community, including UN SC Resolutions.
