Jews and Palastinains have to get along with historical narratives that include mutual respect. Palastinain refugees have to be addressed. Islamic fundamentalism has to return to the lunatic fringe. The West Bank and Gaza must be other than a failed state.
Solve these problems, and the political solution will be apparent whether it`s two states, a federated state, one state, or whatever. If you don`t solve the fundamental problems, no political settlement will be meaningful or will last.
You can`t paper over divides this deep with constitutional solutions. |
