| People who talk of pending nuclear Armagedon are fools. Israel has been pragmatic and will likely continue to be. The only viable option is Peace. But you make peace with your enemies not your friends. Pragmatism is not anathema to Artabs or the Persians. Im not a diplomat, but Mr. Peres is a very smart man/Nobel Peace Prize Recipient and a Poet besides head of state. Mr. Peres you have a nice resume. I`ld say the only thing I am put off is by the doomsayers predicting some ultimate clash of civilizations. One can never rule out War.. but we cmust never rule out peace. Will the Lions lay down with the Sheep? Will mankind beat their swords into plowsears? Im going to invest my money in Lockheed Martin in the near term. But I hope that some decade soon, war between poeple espicially in the middle east will form alliances based on mutual economics/trade and not political/religious strife. But lets stop this nonesensical talk about Armegedon. These are the best of Times! |
