| The Iran nuke challenge is too complicated for an old man like Peres. And his analysis of the problem is simplistic. The fact is the fanatics are not deterred by any nuke response in retaliation to their nuke attacks on other countries. The fanatics are ready to fry themselves like those thugs who flew those planes to the Twin Towers on 9/11 and those Islamist-Jihadist Kamikazees who blew themselves up into smithereens. This is their religion. Hence, allowing the fanatics to have nukes in the first place is the height of idiocy. It threatens humanity! The old President should not be involved in such decision making. Unfortunately, Israel cannot depend on leaders like Obama and others who do not seem to know what it means when Islamist-Jihadist fanatics have nukes in their possession. This is a problem of inexperience and naivete`. Obama is also a weak leader who seems to follow the Chamberlain pathway in confronting the challenges of Islamist-Jihadism/Terrorism. |
