| He is well liked in Europe. Speaks clearly. Needs US support. Seeks foreign investment in just about every area from energy plants, factories to high tech agricultural projects. Many Turkish businessmen are flocking to Syria. Soon enough so will EU businessmen fly in. Imagine if Israel had a true peace arrangement with Syria. Then again, its all about the Golan. Apples and cherries, the high ground, the drying shores of the Sea of Galilee. Of course, Tehran follows closely, maybe a bit to close, for Pres.Assad must "keep up appearances".! I will give Tehran an A for consistency. Also an A for control. As for propaganda, that is another story, for another day. |
