| it seems we live in two different worlds. Our Country is strong enough to repudiate things like the Bus 300 event and what followed. Unfortunately neither Peres nor Shamir did have at the time the moral stature to punish those responsible for the murder and the cover up that followed. Strong democratic institutions are the only guarantee to prevent zealots extremists from persuing their sinister aims and unfortunately we seem to be closer to this than we want to believe. |
