| Insisting Hamas be on the ballot was Bush`s idea, not mine. Making covert electioneering aid to Fatah overt was Bush`s idea, not mine. Holding televised Congressional Hearings 3 days before an attempted coup by Fatah in Gaza was Bush`s idea, not mine. Shutting off more moderate sources of money to the PA through US influence and threats to business in international banking was a Bush idea, not mine. Not a single one of those ideas got Israel closer to peace, not even a single millimeter closer. Every one of those actions and ideas strengthened Hamas and Iranian influence. I cannot fathom why you oppose trying to undo the damage done by ill-conceived policies. You and those policies are the ones strengthening Hamas, not Obama. |
