The team surrounding him is actually pretty good considering the rat pack we had before with Elliot Abrams at NSC and Feith at defense and a few others but this time around we have U.S. Central Command, Lt. Gen. John R. Allen, and National Security Council official Puneet Talwar on the job undoubtedly watching over Ross. The facts are Ross was selected as a AIPAC trophy figure. He wasn`t Obama`s choice and so now we have a interesting mix of individuals who thankfully share different views on how to deal with Iran. Ross is the lone warrior in this threesome. It`s not like Elliot Abrams and Ross were flying over to deal with Iran. The world can take a deep sigh of relief for the moment for that. Let`s see how persistence pays off and how AIPAC gets the war with Iran it wants. Ross will be a key figure in this plot. |
