Natasha Mozgovaya, Haaretz U.S. Correspondent: 'Obama's rabbi': Support for Israel doesn't mean blanket approval
Talkback
Title:Diaspora Jews should move to Israel B4 making criticisms
Name:Anglo Israeli
City: State:
The Rabbi speaks of his "brothers (and sisters) in Israel" which is always a matter to be appreciated as at the end of the day we are a larger family.

However, as for any other diaspora Jew who is deeply interested in Israel and its welfare, until this respected Rabbi lives in Israel, lives the day to day threats, sends his children to the army, will decide if his house or flat will be in a 40Km (and growing) radius from Gaza and a 70Km (and growing) radius from the Lebanese border, and will have a protective sealed room within it or not, he should keep his respected political opinions to himself.

Diaspora Jews, please support Israel unconditionally. We don`t need your condescending and if I may add, arrogant, "tough love" from a distance. If you want to be of political influence, by all means come and live here, smell the air, live the threats of Israel`s political action making, and be as proactive as your heart desires. If in the US or elsewhere, please JUST SUPPORT US.
