Title:"Eretz-Israeli residents"
Name:Naftush
City: State: Israel
The correct translation of "Eretz Israel" in that era was "Palestine." A Palestinian at that time was a Jew and none other. This was the convention among the British. In Hebrew, when required for official reasons, the convention was "Palestine-E.I." Palestine Airways was Netivei Avir Eretz Israel." Etc. Arabs hardly thought of applying this term to themselves; that`s a later invention.
