Or let`s just call it downright lying. The Pals are known as exageraters and outright liars.
The best example is probably Saeb Erakat looking at the camera and telling CNN that Israel had massacred at least 500 Palestinians in Jenin. The UN and human rights groups investigated and found out that no massacre took place, and a couple of dozen civilians had been killed together with a similar number of armed Palestinians in fierce house-to-house fighting.
Erekat, of course, had scored a propaganda point with his lie, since the gullible press seized the story and without checking the facts, wrote it up.
So did Hamas use the school as a launching point? Given the Hamas hatred of America it makes a lot of sense that Hamas would try to get Israel to destroy the school.
As soon as they rebuild Hamas will instigate an Israeli reprisal - because Hamas hates anybody who tries to outdo Hamas at supporting Palestinian society. And Iran can`t tolerate any USA support of the Palestinians. |
