| If the Sinai peninsula was actually a part of egypt in ancient times, then the Exodus saga (Ten Commandments) didn`t happen there. The handing down of the Torah was carried out outside the realm of Egypt. The only place where this handing down could have occured is in the the western coast of Saudi Arabia, directly across the Red Sea opposite the East coast of the Sinai Peninsula. The so-called Sea of Reeds could not been wide and deep enough to have swallowed up the entire army of the Pharoah along with all of his chariots. The Red Sea, on the other hand, is more than big enough. |
