| THEORETICALLY, most Israelis are willing to allow a Palestinian state. PRACTICALLY, with Hamas likely to take over a West Bank state in future elections, Israelis believe that it is a mistake to create a state which would shoot missiles into Israel. Until that problem is solved, the majority of Israelis will not vote for dovish parties which seek to create an immediate Palestinian state. |
