| It may be only 1% of our arms imports but it sets a much-needed precedent. Only when we start using weapons purely for defence and not for the brutal colonization and occupation of the Palestinians should we be allowed to purchase weapons from others. Moreover, I would hope that other countries who have hitherto purchased arms from us would desist until we start abiding by International Law. |
