| When Muslims were being killed in Bosnia and the world was silent it was Elie Wiesel who gathered crowds of people in Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza - I was also there - and mobilized the UN and USA to send troops. Elie Wiesel did not make any distinction of the religious beliefs of those who were oppressed. Neither Iran nor any other Muslim nation - except Turkey but at the time Turkey was really secular - did anything t save the Bosnian Muslims but a Jew that is being vilified by Ahmedinejad and his ilks stood in support of them. |
