I was very disappointed in Amadinejad`s speech, if it is, as reported, just a rant against Israel in the most mean-spirited of terms.
But, hey, I can rant against israel and its behavior against the Palestinians too, but hopefully not in a mean-spirited way. I want Israel to be better than it has been and i want it to move beyond its institutional belief that all the world is against it. The world is not. The world wants Israel to drop the veil of victimhood--the Holocaust was a long time ago and Hitler was a seriously disturbed and talented SOB who somehow was able to do the s-t he did, but it`s over!
Amadinejad has a lot to get over too. For Heaven`s sake, Israel is not the worse thing you will have to deal with in life. You and your own demons are!
Can`t we just knock these nuts (Amadinejad, Netanyahu and the rest of that crowd--on both sides) on the head annd move ahead.
The future is really interesting. Let`s calm down and watch it unfold-no fighting children! |
