We are not hiding under our religion! Some people believe that Israel is a Holy Land and that deep Jewish learning helps rebuild Iarael`s Jewish identity. Other Orthodox Jews believe it is a mitzvah to serve in the IDF and protect the Land. There are many Orthodox officers in the IDF. All of us would prefer to live in peace.
