| The Israel Railways needs a complete re-vamping of personnel.The previous Minister of Transport and the Ministry never addressed core issues involving the Railways top management their mis-management down thru to the lowest rank of railway workers negligence and a history of rail accidents. 2009 and Israel has a pitiful record for a modern rail service. The historical trauma of trains is over -we need modern train services. Direct lines from north and south of Israel to the centers in the Dan region. We need rail from Haifa to Carmiel then to continue to upper galilee. We need european trained personnel -no pun intended -intelligent trained personnel that understands what railways are all about . The country is still so parochial and insulated . COMMENTS PLEASE- HAL. |
