Unfortunately, the word Holocaust does not refer to a natural disaster. Its Greek and it means `to burn whole`, which is what the polytheistic ancient Greeks used to do to their sacrificial offerings. They would cut out the thigh bones (sheep, bulls, oxen etc), wrap them in fat and burn them whilst sprinkling wine over the burnt offering. Hence intent is a prerequisite of a "holocaust".
