Canada, Australia, the US, Netherlands - more to follow. Such a significant group of democratic States would never have made such an impressive and co-ordinated gesture in support of apartheid South Africa. They have thus decisively repudiated the lie that Israel is an apartheid State.
The chickens of Durban I have at last come home to roost. The boycott of Durban II is a huge blow against Jew-haters who use polemical attacks against Israel to give vent to derogatory generalizations about Jews or to deny the right of national self-determination to the Jewish people. (Imagine the howls of protest if anyone said that the Palestinians don`t have the right of national self-determination!)
The campaign to delegitimise Israel has failed. For those who seek to destroy Israel, it`s back to the drawing board. |
