| Cheers to the Dutch people and their government and to the Aussies (Center-LEFT aussies at that) for adding their voices to those of the US and Canada (and there will be more before this ridiculous conference begins). It is heartening to know that there is a seriously growing number of civilzed and fair people in this world who recognize that one-sidedness and ganging up, ESPECIALLY when lead and goaded by the worst abusers of Human RIghts, just isn`t going to cut it anymore. This won`t stop the conference from ravaging Israel. It won`t stop the self-righteous NGOs from singling it out and it certainly won`t stop the "Arab Street" and the organizers of demonstrations in Geneva from having signs that say "Nazionist" or screaming "Jews to the Gas" (as happened at the G20) but it may finally wake up the UN and help them understand that to be the "UNITED" Nations, you must apply diplomacy, fairness, sanction and support with equality and with equanimity; regardless of the pressures. |
