Gideon Levy wrote, "If the Gazans don`t hurry up and resume firing, nobody will take an interest in their welfare again." The Gazans would be fools to follow Levy`s advice and resume firing; the eventual result would be another military action by Israel that causes further Palestinian suffering.
Instead of following Levy`s rotten advice, Gazans should consider the path of peace. An end to the seige, billions of dollars of foreign aid, and the opportunity for a life of dignity and prosperity are available if the people of Gaza end their war on Israel. |
