| It goes like this: Israel sends its F-15`s. I guarantee that the Iranian Tor M1s will down at least 5-10 jets. There may be some moderate damage to facilities in Natanz, Arak and Isfahan. The Israeli jets that do make it back to Israel will land their planes on the tarmacs. Iran will shower the Israeli Air Command with MRBM missiles and probably take out their jets too. Jerichos might be fired back but will make little difference. The key is what will Israel do without an Airforce? Count on Syria to take advantage of this by retaking the Golan Heights with possible Iranian assitance. U.S. will not intervene on Israel`s behalf because Iran has 11,000 missiles to hit U.S. interests in the ME. The Israeli-Iranian war will never reach a conclusion. The Iranians will take a more direct approach, using asymetrical warfare against Israel. Israel might not be defeated immediately, but this is just a slow bleeding that may eventually be fatal. The nuclear bomb is out of the question for Israel. |
