| Israel should wait until the mid-year elections in Iran in the hope that Ahmadinerjad is replaced and there is someone more sane for the major powers to talk to. Israel should give the US a choice, either the allies start a naval blockade searching Iranian ships or Israel will attack. Iranian reaction to a naval blockade would serve as a pretext to force Iran to abandon their enrichment program. All of this only buys time. Even the most massive military strike against Iran can only delay their ability to build nuclear weapons by a few years. By that time Pakistan may be called Talibanistan and Israel will have bigger problems. |
