Do a bit of research and see just who is going to buy the F35. It will more than pay for itself, and the production lines are going to be busy for a good few years so jobs is not the issue.
For Israel the issue is having the codes for the electronics, and I can tell you the UK has refused to do so for the parts it makes. (Nothing important the engine).
This is what this is all about, Israel wants to do it`s own electronics then they pay a premium on the aircraft, personally I`d quadruple the cost, to ensure that Israel buys `as seen` amd which means we can programme the electronics to turn off if Israel starts using the F35 for things other than self defence.
Or do you think an economy in meltdown and oil at at least $10 a gallon is acceptable because Israel is due some elections and Nuttyyahoo needs to attack Iran to shore up his poll ratings?
Because I can assure you if Israel attacks Iran there will be no jobs because there will be no economy. |
