Well, here we go again.
Supporters of apartheid will again use the `security` argument to justify their brutal and illegal policies.
Is anything permissible by saying `security`? As #2 correctly states, if it was only about security, then why wouldn`t the barrier be built on the actual border?
And, because of `security`, Israel locks up thousands of Palestinians without charges, sets up hundreds of checkpoints in the West Bank, demolishes homes, etc. etc.
Israeli security is important, but it is not linked to the humiliation, imprisonment and repression of the Palestinian people. |
