Not everybody agrees that the settlements are illegal, only the majority, which includes the USA, which is why the USA deducts money from US loan guarantees to Israel equal to the amount of those funds used by Israel to develop its settlements. Now, I wonder if the Zionist Federation in Britain is also going to argue that the fact that such actions by the US are largely symbolic proves that the USA doesn`t really consider the settlements illegal? It`s not impossible, since they seem to deem two pieces of inaccurate writing to be conclusive and indisputable evidence that the BBC is biased in its coverage of Israel.

And just on an unrelated topic, what is the usual response around here when someone in the US government criticizes some aspect of Israeli policy, I belive it is something along the lines of This is Israel not America. Isn`t that right? So, is Britain Israel now? Or would it be discriminatory against Israel to not allow Zionists to inform public policy in Britain?
