Ball and Ashtaroth were deities of mostly pre- and 1st Temple periods, while the bowls are some 1200+ yr. later and bear no Hebrew inscription, but Aramaic, Mandean etc. In the words of this "researcher" there is no unambigous evidence for his thesis of bowl belonging to a Jewish ritual, but only a wish for a sensationalist and scandalous claim!
