| What sheer insanity and lunacy! In its attempt to take advantage of the current weakness in the Arab and Sunni world, semi-rogue elements of the Persian/Iranian regime, backed by Arab Shiite allies, are trying to destabilize "moderate" Arab Sunni nations in a bid to increase their power. Don`t these fools know they are playing into the hands of the Sunni extremists, like Al-Qaida? Weaker Arab nations will only inflame the fervor of internal Sunni oppositons to these pro-Western (yet corrupt) regimes. The end result will be a major backlash against the Shiites themselves! Instead of of this self-destructive action, Iran and its proxies would do well to ally (if only secretly) with these Arab regimes and even Israel to thwart a threat that endangers their collective independence if not their existence! |
