| Many countries control the news media. Developing countries and totalitarian regimes silence the opposition. I found it interesting that when I wanted the latest news that was happening in Armenia, I found it on a "gay" blog website. Being gay is still not tolerated in a conservative Armenia; and Iran is worse in that it hangs homosexuals. Isn`t it interesting that "gay" people can serve as an outlet for freedom of speech and let us know what is happening in their country. |
