Pretty suffocating by the sounds of it but even in secular Australia the god botherers force the closure of most shops, the slow down of bus services and so on for the Easter break.
It used to be 4 days without any way to get cash, without shops open, without newspapers printed but about 6 years ago we started to have shops open on Saturday.
Too bad that most of Australia goes to the football and other sports rather than worry about god bothering.
But we don`t white out the faces of female politicians, nor force any women to sit at the back of the bus.
Although one small group of Australian born recently converted to ultra orthodox did lobby the Sydney council to change the traffic lights so they didn`t have to push the button to cross the road on the sabbath, and they keep their kids segregated in armed fortresses called schools. |
